Quick Update

Don't worry all, we are alive, school is just consuming our lives right now, but it is finals week and GRADUATION!!!! We can't wait to be done and be able to enjoy our children again and all the fun Christmas traditions. Chance graduates on Saturday and we couldn't be more excited. We've all been doing what we can to stay sane :)

At Melaleuca each team always decorates and this year Chance's team did Up. They did a good job. Chance was dressed up as the little scout boy, and one of his good friends that works there said to him, "Did you go out and buy all those marit badges at the DI?" If you know Chance, this was pretty hillarious.

We had a great halloween with lots of parties and trick-or-treating. Kinbree was a bee, but only wore her costume once, and Mason was a pumpkin once, and a sheep all the other times. I pulled out the Halloween box and told him he could be a dog or a pumpkin. He saw Kinbree's 9month dalmation costume and insisted on waring it. It was way too small and wouldn't zip up, but its what he wanted to be. It was the most hillarious thing to watch him walk around hunched over, but he loved it and isisted on waring it to the ward halloween party and our own little party. We got tons of candy, and loved every minute of it!!

I can't believe it! Mason is 3!! We Love you Mason and are so glad you are part of our family. Life wouldn't be the same without your humor and sweet smile. Happy Birthday!

One of my favorite traditions is making cakes for our childrens birthdays. This is how they turned out this year. I'm glad I was able to create what was in my mind. And I didn't even get a picture with Mason holding them. Bummer.

School has started!

We are all busy with school. I Love the classes that I am taking, and Chance is graduating this semester. But we especially love it when Auntie Karissa has projects and Mason and Kinbree are the subjects!

What is your current obsession? I have been rearranging at least once a month. I just never like how the furniture is so I change it till I like it.
What do you hate (or dislike) the most that everyone else seems to love? I do not like to call people. I have phoneobia as Karissa would call it. It runs in the family. I would much rather walk a mile and knock on your door, than call (with the exception of a few people)
What are you wearing today? Right now I am in my PJ's.
What's for dinner? Well it was suppose to be chipped beef on toast, but we had that on tuesday since I didn't want what was for dinner that night. I'll probablly make William Sonomas DELICIOUS Skillet Lasagna and use zucinni (I have no clue how to spell that) in it instead of squash. Kayla gave me a ginormous zucinii that I have already made 4 loafs of bread with, and there is still half of it left!
What would you eat for your last meal? Maybe some yummy delicious fish, with a side of delicious sauted veggies. I love fish but Chance wouldn't be able to handle even the smell in our house. I also love veggies, like squash and broccoli, but I am the only one that will eat it, so I never make that either.
What was the last thing you bought? I hit up a few estate and garage sales and found some beautiful finds like ticked stripe fabric, which I have been on the hunt for, and I found it at no other place than an estate sale. Who would have guessed and for 75 cents for about 3 yards!!
What are you listening to right now? Peace and quiet!!
What do you think of the person who tagged you? I absolutly love Kayla! She is so beautiful and has the sweetest heart. I could spend every day with her. She is so uplifting and makes me want to be a better person.
If you could have a house fully paid for and totally furnished anywhere in the world, where would it be? Rexburg has really grown on me.

What are three things that annoy you most? 1) I have all these ideas in my head of things i want to make, but i cannot recreate it. Frusturating! 2) When the kitchen counters don't get wipped off. 3) my house never seems to be clean
What is your favorite color? right now I love white. I want to paint everything white.
What is your favorite item of clothing in your wardrobe? All the clothes that Karissa lets me borrow. I love sisters especially those that live with me!!

What inspires you? Lots of things I just can't pick, unless we want to be literal, then the Holy Ghost :)

Minnesota!

The kids and I decided the day before Grandma and Nicole took off for their road trip for Minnesota that we wanted to come. Chance was busy with school, so we thought it would be a good time to get away. We hurried and packed, and headed down to Salt Lake that night. We left the next morning drove to Colorado and stayed with my aunt and uncles, then drove the rest of the way the next day. We had a great time seeing Richard, Lisa, Raegan, and new baby Ryan. We were also able to see some friends, but we were only there for three days then back on the road again. On the way home we stopped and stayed our last night with the Monsons. The Kids did FABULOUS in the car, but had a really hard time with so many new people and places. They were super clingly, and it was great to finally be back home with Papa! Thanks for the little get away and making room for us Mom!

Weekend fun!!

I know this was forever ago, but for memorial day weekend the Monson family came down. We always love it when they come. We had a BLAST, enjoying the sand dunes with swimming, a night at the river and making smores at Grandpas, and fun with cousins. On Memorial Day we went to see some graves with Karissa and headed up to Mesa Falls, and stopped on the way back to make it a tradition with ice cream cones! YUM!! It was a fantastic weekend.
